Upcoming: Saimoe 2011

Again, another Saimoe season is upon us. And this time, there are a lot of cute ones to choose from.

* K-on is still a force to be reckoned with due to the second season airing during the Summer last year. Will Mio or one of the others get a chance to win, or will Azunyan do what no one else can, and repeat as Saimoe champion?
* Mikoto Misaka will also be a force to be reckoned with, as Index 2 also keeps her in the running. (IMO, Kuroko is my favorite of the Index series)
* No Nanoha, No Saki this year.
* I remember that Stocking from Panty and Stocking had a lot of fans when that show aired. I wouldn’t be surprised if she went far.
* We may see a OreImouto faction pop up. Dunno how that will affect the tourney, but I can see Kuroneko getting far as well.
* I will be rooting for the girls of Fortune Arterial, even though they won’t get too far. (Erika Sendo will get my attn.)
* There WILL be a Madoka faction. Yep, and ALL my support goes to Homura. Unless she gets Charlotte in the first round, expect her to get to the final round.
* IS Faction. Definately. Like I said above Charlotte has the upper hand on the others in this Faction, but you can’t underestimate the power of the others.
* Victorique from Gosick may be a dark horse in this contest. We shall see.
* Eucliwood Hellscythe from Zombie may get through plenty of rounds (Maybe top 8).
* Erio, being one of the most Adorable characters in a long time, should have a decent chance to take it all as well, with our resident 40 year old Cute One Meme and Ryuuko also in this.
* Menma will get a lot of votes. Dunno how far she’ll get, Though.

FINAL PREDICTIONS:
When all is said and done, I see Homura and Charlotte being the final two in this, and Charlotte squeaking by as Saimoe Champion this year. What do you think?
