Revival Part II: AX-Geneon Universal…..maybe

As you may have seen before, in AX’s past, Geneon was the company that was a general fan Fav for years. Then, for some reason, Geneon imploded, sending everyone in a fit. Then they made a distribution deal w/ Funimation, pretty much sending most of their non-finished titles to be done.

Now they seem to be on life support again, as Geneon Universal started their panel my mentioning some new titles: Black Lagoon OVA, Hellsing Ultimate 5-7. Fate/Stay Night: Ultimate Blade Works, Railgun(Where is Index?), hakuouki, and High School of the Dead. The fun part about this is that they mentioned that at least Black Lagoon, Hellsing and Railgun will be using the same Funi distribution agreement…..maybe. They were being a bit Vague, as well as mentioning that HS of the Dead was licensed, and did not mention Funi as the distributor. So…lots of unanswered questions to be answered later with Funi, Nozomi and Aniplex all coming up later today.

Quick Update: High School of the Dead was licensed….by Sentai Filmworks. I actually saw that coming…
