Joppy's Year End Awards 2009

And thus, this year is almost over. And taste is in the eye of the beholder. And so, My list of favorites are as follows:

Anime:

Toradora. If it was by what I watched this year as opposed to coming out this year. it would be After Story, w/out a doubt. However, This year, It was the Palmtop Tiger that won out.

Sledgehammer Award:

The Sledgehammer award is what I feel the most god-awful anime that I will not touch with a ten-foot pole is. This year, it must be the Fanservice-heavy Queens Blade. Only a few people I know actually liked this.(Further insult to injury: Media Blasters picked this crap up, while Toradora, Mahoraba(Still want this, you know), K-on!, or Nogizaka Haruka stays unlicensed. BAH!

Favorite Female Character:

And if anyone knows me in the past year and a half would know who this is. Mio Akiyama came close, but no one wins this battle to me more than Nogizaka Haruka.

Favorite Male Character:

From Kobato: Ioryogi. The only one that flames stupid people(Literally).

Favorite song:

The only good thing that came from Haruhi this year was the song Super Driver. Also: Fuwa Fuwa time is an Awesome song as well.

Most Surprising Series that I liked:

After the “Boss” Kana beat up on poor Mio on Saimoe, I watched Minami-ke. (All of it). And I was pleasantly surprised. Plus it seems that there is another Haruka that is love.
