Yes, I feel stupid.

Someone pwned me with a bit of code, making me stuck at WP 2.5 for a long while. After tinkering a bit, I found the code that was causing the problems and fixed it, so now everything is back to normal. I am gonna see what WordPress 2.5.1 can really do, now that the pain in the butt malicious code is gone for good.

Words of wisdom: When you see that a new version of WordPress is available: UPGRADE.
