Joppy’s Rants Jan 10: Things are turning Sour….

..in the US, that is.

First Bandai Entertainment’s DVD replicators have screwed up, leaving us with four bad DVDs. A Recall is in effect, Bandai is also replacing the disks.

My View- This is not the time for Bandai’s replicators to be lazy on the job. Bandai better do something(Like get a new Replicator), so they don’t go belly up before Lucky Star comes to the US.

Next- Newtype USA, ADV’s version of Newtype, is stopping next month. There seems to be a replacement coming for this magazine.

My View- This bites, as I liked Newtype more than the other US based Magazines. I will give the new Mag a chance. If it fails, I will get Newtype Jp.

Finally– Hirameki Int., The maker of US Visual Novels, closed it’s doors this past month.

My View- Even though I have Two of their works(Hourglass of Summer, and Phantom of Inferno), I felt they need just some slight work(mispelled words, and grammar issues). I also thought these were minor. With Hirameki gone, Now we have almost no one who to give us visual novels, except for those sold at JLIST.COM(Shameless plug :3)
