Year in, year out, we have heard these words:

AIR and Kanon will never come out in the US, and we’d have to buy the R2′s.

April 27th, the floodgates were opened, and all of the AIR series were licensed by ADV, meaning that there was hope that Kanon, the untouchable series would be licensed.

Late summer, a mysterious trailer appeared and then disappeared on ADV’s site for Kanon. Lots of Speculation occured.

Finally in August, Kanon was announced, and there was much rejoicing.

As of now, All of AIR TV is Released on DVD, plus the AIR Movie. Kanon will be Released on Jan 1.
