Joppy’s Rants- Dragon Ball Movie a reality.

I guess the rumors were true after all.

ANN has reported that the Dragonball movie, that was rumored to be filmed recently, will be released in August 2008. And a couple of casting facts and rumors-

The man who is Ando on the NBC show Heroes was auditioning as Yamcha.

James Marsten(the man who played Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer) will be painted green(Or CGed over) to become Piccolo.

And someone I have never heard of: Justin Chatwin, as Goku. He’s a young one, so maybe he might fit.

The only way this movie will succeed is if they stay close to the manga as possible, and not smoosh a ton of story into 2 1/2 hours.

I could see them fitting the first part, the Vegeta arc, in one movie.but if they fit anymore, it will hurt any chance for the movie to succeed.(Hopefully it doesn’t lay an egg like the recent Dead or Alive movie)
