Lucky Star Licensed? Maybe, Maybe not.

It seems Kadaokawa Pictures USA has put on their list of titles supposedly licensed by them: Lucky Star.

As much as I want to jump up and down for this…

It might be true that Kadokawa USA has the license. But, they are, as they say, the “Middle man.” They don’t distribute anime, so they have to sublicense out the titles to a distributor. It could be Bandai or ADV, who knows.(I don’t see Funi nabbing this presently.)

I also heard somewhere that the 4th DVD of Haruhi is going to have a special announcement. Just a quick thought.
