State of Anime-July 07

    With AX come and gone, It was a good time for MOST anime companies(Viz is the lonely company that didn’t license a thing this year. (Hopefully, they have something for Otakon, otherwise I will stamp FAIL on them.)

AX also was terrible in their handling of the concerts, almost canceling one, making the singer feel horrible. All of their concerts started late, Long lines for everything,It was just a mess. There needs to be a PR move that apologizes for these lapse, and fixes these problems. Otherwise, Other Japanese guests will be very hesitant in coming to the US.

Otakon is next weekend. So I hope the Convention Handlers took notes, and makes Otakon better than AX.
